Fests

Our themed fests are open to every type of creator (ex. fic, art, edits, memes, moodboards, gifs, manips, & more!) on Twitter, Tumblr, and AO3 where all works will be promoted by the Fragile Little Teacup event moderators to the Hannibal/HEU fandom at large via our official social media and archive them under a unique hashtag and in an AO3 collection.All FLT fests are curated to support, encourage, and promote the creative expression of bottom/penetrated Hannibal & Mads HEU Character content.What is a fest?A fandom run fest is an event where participants create fanworks for a specific, pre-designated theme, and post them during a set time-frame (typically a week, or sometimes an entire month) across various social media platforms.The goal of our events is to engage positively with and inspire our fandom community. At the end of the day, that's what fandom is all about. Let's get back to our roots and CREATE! ♥

PLEASE CONTACT OUR EVENT MODERATORS SHOULD YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS:

  • Am I required to have an AO3 account to participate in a fest? No, you are not! However, if you do have an AO3 account, please make sure to post your creation (regardless of type) to the pre-designated collection for archival purposes. In that same vein, when or if you post your fest creation on Twitter or Tumblr, we ask that you use that specific fest's unique, pre-designated hashtag so that we can share and boost your creations. ♥

  • Can I participate in a fest even if I've never posted a creation before? ABSOLUTELY! We encourage anyone and everyone who is interested in participating in our fests to do so, regardless of past experience or skill level. If you have any questions or concerns please contact our event moderators to assist you, or if you'd prefer a group setting instead, you are free to join our discord community where we offer live chat assistance and where you will be surrounded by your fandom peers and other participants who can help you out, too.

  • Does my fest creation have to be fic or art? There are NO restrictions on the type of creation you might wish to submit for our fests. Examples of just some of the things you could create for our fests include, but are not limited to: fic, art, drabbles, doodles, poetry, playlists, moodboards, edits, memes, manips, and/or anything else you can think of!

ALL PARTICIPANTS OF & CONTENT CREATED FOR OUR FESTS MUST ABIDE BY THE FOLLOWING:

  1. Participants must be 18 years of age or older.

  2. Bottom/Penetrated Mads Character content ONLY. (Penetrations can range from anally, vaginally, orally, or something more abstract like wound-fucking.)

  3. Switching is permitted, as long as MAJORITY of your creation adheres to Rule # 2.

  4. We encourage you to submit NEW and/or previously UNPUBLISHED fanworks, though it is NOT required.

  5. Any and all potential pairings must involve at least ONE Mads HEU Character (ex: Hannibal, Nigel, Markus, Lenny, etc.) in your creation. This means that Mads x Mads HEU pairings are also permitted.

  6. Our fests are DEAD DOVE inclusive! Our definition of fictional Dead Dove content includes, but is not limited to: Non-con/rape, incest, underage, bestiality, and necrophilia.

  7. If you choose to create Dead Dove content for our fests, for the safety and comfort of our fandom community, you are REQUIRED to WARN & TAG for it appropriately either in your AO3 work OR include it as a CW/TW in your creation post. (Note: Social media PROMOS for written works that are already posted appropriately on AO3 are exempt from this.)

  8. For works posted on AO3 or Twitter Ficlet threads, you are required to WARN &/OR TAG for Major Character Death(s) as well. (Note: Again, for written works on AO3, ambiguous or open-to-interpretation endings must be tagged as such BUT they do NOT always require a MCD warning, so please check with an event moderator for help if you are unsure.) We understand and support those who don't wish to over-tag or spoil their creations, but since we are hosting fests that are open to everyone in the Hannibal/HEU fandom, we want to ensure our creators and their audiences are able to navigate all of the fest creations safely.

  9. Late submissions to our fests are okay!
